What I hope to accomplish as County Commissioner is three-fold. First and foremost, I want to be the best steward of the taxpayer’s generated revenue. Second, I plan to always be an informed and prepared asset to the other members of the Commissioners Board. Lastly, I plan on being able to assist the constituents of Alamance County in the issues they’ll face over the next four years. I am a fiscal conservative who believes the number one job of a County Commissioner is to get taxpayers the best return on investment for the money spent. I’m a firm believer of the United States Constitution and will always favor small government and that especially applies to the local government. One of our local needs that I will insist on is a zero based budget. Another thing I find extremely important is the County Commissioner’s need to support Sheriff Johnson, our deputies and our other first responders in their mission to keep our citizens safe. I will also support investment ventures like the Burlington Alamance Regional Airport and Alamance Community College. These investments pay dividends several times over that show substantial upsides to the taxpayers. At the end of my term, I want the citizens of Alamance County to be proud of my performance as their County Commissioner.
